I own a lot of rental properties in Jacksonville, Florida. At first I thought I was going to be this big time real estate girl and live off my rentals. Turns out it is a lot of work for not much payout. Yes my networth was high, even though I was genuinely taking in anything. I decided that I just wanted to sell them and begin a business. Even with the renter being a pain, they weren’t afraid at all. I absolutely feel like I made better out of the scenario than they did. I can’t believe I hung onto my properties as long as I did.
