I have a Jacksonville rental property that I have been looking to get rid of for quite some time. I bought a house way back in the day and lived there for a few years. The area is up and coming but not totally near anything great. I also had a heck of a drive for work. I ended up moving to a better house and decided to rent out my space. I figured it would be nice to get some added income. The concern with my rental property is that tenants are a pain in the butt. They constantly call about issues with the appliances, yard, electricity, plumbing, or HVAC. I am not a skilled contractor. Any complaint I immediately need to call for assistance. It costs money and usually it isn’t a big deal. I also don’t like that I am frustrated and worried when the unit isn’t rented. That is a huge worry. I tried listing it with a real estate agent. I wasn’t getting any serious interest for what I felt it was worth. A lot of people wanted me to make updates to the part. The real estate agent wanted it to be cleaned out and staged to attract more attention. I knew there would be closing costs, hidden fees, and real estate agent fees. That is a lot of money that just gets pulled out of the sale. It didn’t seem fair for the work that was put in. So I have been on the hunt for a real estate Florida home buyer that will give me cash for my rental property.
